As you pack your kiddo's backpacks and prep for the new school year, there’s something important to consider: their safety.

I know you can relate to this…

You’ve just dropped your little one off at school. You watch them walk away, their backpack bouncing with each step. They turn and give you one last wave, and you feel a pang of worry.

You’ve done everything to prepare them – but what about those unexpected moments?

That’s where a little extra protection can make all the difference. Teaching children to use personal alarms and carry them in their backpacks can give you peace of mind.

The "Hear Me Out" personal alarm is loud enough to draw attention, AND it also sends YOU a text letting you know if they're in trouble along with their exact GPS location…

And...

I hate to even have to mention this...

But I found a bulletproof panel for your children.

The "SafeLee Sleave" is a bulletproof panel that fits inside their backpack adding that extra layer of much needed security in a crisis.

These tools are compact and easy for kids to use. Knowing they have these with them throughout their day can be incredibly reassuring.

It’s like giving them an invisible shield, just in case.

We all want our children to be safe and sound. Let’s take that extra step together.

Let’s make sure our kids feel safe and confident every day of the school year with these small yet powerful tools.

Here's a link the the GPS personal alarm I love:

And here's a link to the bulletproof backpack sleeve:

Stay safe and have a great start to the school year!
Yet another reason to know how to protect yourself (and your family).

A woman pulled into her garage, and as she started to close the garage, a creepy man snuck right into her garage and held her against her will...

Situations like this happen...
That's just the truth...
And way more often than we think...

In August, there's something called National Night Out, which got me thinking...

I have safety knowledge in my head...
I might as well share some tips with you...

TIP 1:
Don't ever enter your actual home address into your car GPS.
Enter the closest gas station address, so they can't target your home if they get into your car.

TIP 2:
Sleep with your vehicle key on your nightstand. If you hear someone breaking in, sound your car alarm to attempt to deter them.

TIP 3:
Have distance safety tools and in-hand tools staged throughout your house, so you can grab them within 2 seconds of someone entering, no matter where you are in your house.

My favorite distance tool is this specific pepper spray for many reasons: [link]

My favorite in-hand tools are either this stun device:

Or this striking tool:

TIP 4:
Spray first and get away if you can or spray and then move in with your stun device or striking tool.

TIP 5:
If you don't have a security alarm, this portable alarm will protect your house for you. You put it in front of doors and on windows.
This is the alarm:

Safety is up to us...
We can't rely on others saving us...
Even a husband...
The attacker will target him first...
You have to have a plan in place for if you're needed as backup...

You are your own best protector...
It's time to equip yourself knowing that...

And know that I have your back...
I'm here for any questions you have.

Attackers are targeting walkers and joggers.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind...

TIP 1:
If 1 person out of 10 walkers/joggers is wearing ear buds, the attacker will most likely choose that one person wearing the ear buds...

The perpetrator can literally touch you before you hear them coming...

That doesn't give you enough time to respond and overcome them...

TIP 2:
Having a distance tool, like a pepper spray, can handle an attack from 16 feet away...

You don't have to touch them...

You push pepper sprays with your thumb, and you make a "Z pattern" across their eyes, nose, and mouth...

If one pepper spray could save your life, isn't that worth investing in for you and every teen and adult in your family?

You know me...
I research EVERYTHING...

The pepper sprays I trust most have UV dye to identify the attacker...

It's the hottest pepper spray legally allowed on the market, so you know it's going to stop them in their tracks...

Here's a link to see my first choice:

Together, we can make a difference for your life, your family's life, and the lives of these trafficking survivors.
One way you're making it EASY FOR BURGLARS...

You park at the airport...

Burglars break into cars knowing they'll find two things...
1. Your garage door opener
2. Paperwork in the glove box with your address on it...

And guess what else they know...

You're not home...

They'll target your home hoping nobody else is there...

Here are some simple tips for you...

TIP 1:
Hide your garage door opener out of sight...

Remove or hide any paperwork with your address on it...

TIP 2:
If you don't have a security alarm at home, I've found a very simple alternative...

The "Step Off Portable Alarm" is an extremely affordable option...

It looks like a wedge that you place in front of your doors and on your windows...

If someone opens a door or breaks a window, it sounds a piercing 120-decibel alarm...

It's been shown to make those burglars turn right back around and leave...
Their biggest fear is being caught...

This is my favorite one:

Knowing your home is secure means you can relax, whether you're at work, out for the evening, or away on a trip.
