Not everyone feels safe in their own home. Sometimes, it’s where the hardest battles are fought.

If that’s your story or someone you love, this is for you...

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and while we may not always talk about it, the reality is that personal safety begins at home.

Carrying a personal alarm can offer a small but crucial sense of security. It's not just about the alarm itself... it's about knowing you have a way to call for help when you need it most.

I’ve found a personal alarm that’s discreet because it's silent.

You can check it out here:

Whether for yourself or someone you care about, having this tool could be a lifeline in a moment of need.

Your safety is, and always will be, my priority.

You’re not alone in this. Let’s take small steps toward feeling safer together.

October is National Crime Prevention Month, and while it's a time to reflect on our safety, it’s also a gentle reminder that we all deserve to feel secure in our daily lives.

The 'Written Off Tactical Pen' has been my go-to for a reason. It’s reliable, easy to carry, and can give you that added layer of security wherever you go.

It even collects DNA so the perpetrator can be identified. So many crimes go unsolved because of a lack of evidence... meaning the attacker is still a threat to you and others.

You can see the tactical pen here:

You deserve to feel safe and empowered in every space you occupy. Taking small steps like this can make a difference, offering you the reassurance that you have the tools to protect yourself when it matters most.

Halloween is just around the corner, and while it’s a night of fun, we want to make sure our kiddos are safe while they’re out trick-or-treating.

One of the best ways to ensure their safety is by equipping them with a personal alarm that’s not only loud enough to draw attention but also discreet if they need it to be.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

LOUD Alarm Option: If they pull the alarm, a 120-decibel sound is released to draw attention immediately, and it sends a text to their emergency contacts with their exact GPS location.

SILENT Alarm Option: If they need help but want to stay discreet, they can press the alarm button to silently send a message with their GPS location to their emergency contacts.

Either way, you'll be notified instantly, and help will be on the way.

Here’s a link to check out the GPS-enabled alarm I trust most for my family:

Let’s keep Halloween fun and safe.

Did you know mace and pepper spray aren't the same thing?

Many people think they're interchangeable, but there's a crucial difference that could impact your safety in a dangerous situation.

Mace works only on pain receptors—meaning if your attacker has a high pain tolerance or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, it might not stop them. They can still keep coming at you, with their eyes wide open.

But pepper spray?

It’s a different story. Pepper spray doesn’t just cause pain—it forces the attacker's eyes to close, often for 15-30 minutes. No matter how tough or impaired they are, pepper spray’s powerful formula gives you time to escape and get to safety.

After researching the best options, I’ve found a collection of pepper sprays that I trust with my life. Some even come with a disengagement wristlet so they can’t be used against you if taken.

You can check them out here.

Your safety isn’t something to leave to chance—let’s make sure you have the tools you need to protect yourself and your loved ones.
